This Wells Fargo LOST my IRA! I opened an IRA with them in the summer of 2007. I hadn't received any statements in the mail but I didn't know if I was supposed to because this was my first IRA.

I asked them about it one day when I was there on other business. They practically called me a liar and said they had no record of it. The IRA was about $4500, my entire life savings as a single mom receiving no child support. I told them the story and they told me it was up to me to prove that I had opened an IRA with them.

Some months later I had all my official paperwork proving that I had indeed opened an IRA with them. They told me they'd call me in a cuple of days.

A week went by. I had no calls from them. Finally I went in in person on Saturday to ask about it. "We're still investigating it," I was told.

It's been over a week and they still haven't contacted me, not even to say they are still looking for it. I am furious.

Edmonds Branch have very nice tellers but the management is terrible. Management consists of pimply-faced males in their 20's who are rotated through there about every six months and are completely incompetent and lack any people skills whatsoever. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
