I am from Yakima, WA. I came to Bothell for a seminar for work. A co-worker and myself went out to Thrashers for a few drinks and dinner. It seemed like a pretty cool place. The drinks were very good. We got dinner to take home. My co-worker and I were paying our tab up at the bar with our take-home boxes when a very creepy man looked over at us and said "California burger, bacon burger, a side of ranch and a side of tarter," which was EXACTLY what we ordered. We don't know how he knew that, unless he was the cook. But even then, there were sooo many people ordering food and taking food to go. How would he know that? We both got really creeped out and couldn't even eat all of our food because we didn't know if he did anything to it.
Love it!: I have lived by Thrasers corner pub my whole life and always went to the safeway near by. So when I turned 21 it was one of the first bars that came to mind for my 21 run. It was better than I expected. It really is just a local bar, it has some video games, pool, and darts. Everyone there is really friendly (sometimes a little too friendly with me infront of my boyfriend), I would probably bring a small group of people with you though. The food is mediocre, it's pretty cheap bar food. But if you just want to have a low key night where you dont have to put thought or effort into your outfit, this bar is perfect for you. It has a pretty good mix of people as far as age and type. The mix of music is great. It really does cover everything, top 40 type stuff for all radio stations from the 1980's until present. And the guy to girl ratio is pretty good, if you are a girl looking for a fun night out meeting attractive single guys. Check it out!
Bar Food, Attractive Waitresses and Just A Bar!: Thrashers has been around for a long time...the bar isn't "hip" or even all that clean...this is only a drinking bar...the mood in the place is always upbeat...there tends to be more action on the weekdays...more "happy hour" crowd than regulars...music is always turned on and plays a good mix between metal (both death and 80's) to country (again, both old and new)...food is, well, bar food...my friend ordered the "Chicken Salad"...the waitress didn't even know they had one...so if that is any idication...There are pool tables and dart boards...In addition, there is an outside section that is off-limits to drinking for the smokers so everyone is happy...oh yeah...one more thing...if you don't order at the bar, the service can be a long while...so best to just order at the bar!
