So much fun! Real quiet and laid back. If you don't know what you want just ask. They won't just tell you what they are supposed to. . . they will really help you find the right beer fit!

The ultimate neighborhood pub for beer lovers: The best beer selection in the south end. You won't find high production beers but if you know real beer and love the smaller craft ales, this is the place. The taps rotate to variety is key and there are lots of BIG beers on all the time. If IPAs are your thing, the Dog is heaven on earth.

For a lighter snack, go with the onion rings and dipping sauce! For a salad, there are several good ones but try the Buffalo chicken salad - you'll be coming back for another, I guarantee. The taco salad is also very good with an excellent sweet/hot sauce.

For a main entree, the fish and chips is solid or go with a southwest chicken salad or philly cheese (see if prime rib is on if it's a weekend).

Service is great and you'll be treated like a regular on your second visit. The folks that work at the Dog know their beer. There's an outdoor area if the weather is right for it. A single pool table anchors the main saloon.

Grab a table or sit at the bar - come once... and you'll be coming back.

Beer connoisseurs revelry.: Fairly convenient location in beautiful Renton, Wa. Parking is basically terrible, so we pay attention to when we visit.
Once inside, you're treated to a nicely decorated neighborhood pub. Fireplace w/ couch. And a nice bar with visually entertaining beer taps and periphernalia
The beer is the main draw. 28+ taps, all microbrews and imports, no domestics (except occasionally when they have PBR). Lots o' different beers and wines in bottles. No hard liquor. Price is reasonable.
All of the bartenders and waitresses and waiters are good, except Bob can be a load at times.
There's outdoor seating during the summer in a pretty fair beer garden. I've always been happy with the food, but the main reason I attend is for the beer, which never disappoints.
    One of my regular digs.
