User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOur family loves this restaurant. We move here from Oregon three years ago and were really missing our favorite Mexican restaurant until we found El Toreador. They have unique dishes and everything we have ordered has been very good. The decor is friendly and inviting despite it being relatively small. The staff are prompt, attentive and helpful when ordering. We make this one of our regular stops.

Great food, great people running the place. I am 27 now and have been going here since I was in 2nd grade. My wife has the same story. We live in Maple Valley now and still when we want mexican we go all the way to redmond to hit up Wayne and the guys at El T's. Salsa is great, my personal fav is 2 shredded beef tacos or beef fajitas.

The single worst experience I have ever had for Mexican eats. The food was really poor in quality and expensive, the waiters were silent, rude, and when they spoke were worse. Demanding, unflexible, and disruptive. Our server was always rushing around, looked like he hated everyone in the room, and spoke like he wanted to taint your food. The food tasted terrible and the whole experience was very, very troubling.
I don't know why the reviews are soo good. Taco Bell makes better food than this place. I have no idea how they could survive for soo long with such crappy food and service.
I recommend to go to some other place; anywhere but here.

I know which server you are talking about. Great guy, and the only reason they hurry is because it's hard to get a table on a given night. Think of it like the soup nazi. They are so busy they sort of set their own rules. My wife and I are regulars so they know what we get and its in and out, but try it again... you won't be disappointed
