We went in to purchase a new CR-V and I spoke with Peter over the phone and via email. He wasn't available when I went in but Dann was and he was very helpful. I'd say the experience overall was good except for their finance department. The finance person kept trying to have us buy extras we weren't interested in and he was much pushier than others I've worked with at other dealerships. It wasted a lot of time and in the end I'm honestly not sure if that will keep me from going back. It ruined my overall impression of the dealership which is unfortunate since I feel I got a good price and a good vehicle.
Honda of Kirkland is incredibly incompetent and awful at customer service. They did our paperwork wrong THREE times, and each time, we had to go back to the dealership to sign off and they didn't care or feel apologetic at all that it was very inconvenient to us. Have you ever heard of FED EX? If you are going to make people wait around for you for hours, you could at least have some free food in the extremely crowded waiting area.
I have had the worst experience of negotiating for the price of the car at this dealer. They were extremely pushy, reasoning in the illogical way, and trying to do everthing (including changing sales personnel) to make that sales, and that was just a bad, experience.
And though I actually liked the car, I just walked out without buying it, and went straight to Honda of Bellevue and bought the exact same car. It was just a bit cheaper and the sales personnel there was straight foward. (I am not saying it was excellent, just decent.) I would rather buy from someone where at least they would treat you like .... a customer.
I would never go back to Honda of Kirkland, ever again.
