Belly dancing at Jerzy's is now at 10pm every Friday. I recommend getting there at 9:30 so you'll be sure to get a seat and have time to order before the show. Jerzy's offers a fabulous wine selection, delicious tapas, impeccable service and belly dancing to boot!

Bellydancing has FINALLY come to the east-side!!

That's right: JERZY'S WINE BAR in Redmond is hosting live bellydancing every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 9:30 pm!
So far it's been a great success, and the prefect way to start out the weekend! The dancers, Mellilah and Imei, are not only beautiful, but truly talented dancers who really put on a marvelous show and captivate the audience! February 20, 2008 - for those who have not yet had the privilege of visiting jerzy's wine bar, i highly recommend it! i am a long-time resident of redmond, and i must say we have been waiting for a place like this for far too long!
jerzy's ambiance is astounding. they have managed to create a beautiful, intimate setting where everyone seems to always be happy and enjoying themselves. its difficult to capture in words, but worth visiting just for the experience in and of itself!
they have a very nice wine list, and the servers seem to be very knowledgeable about the choices. the owner herself actually even comes and talks to people, and it is obvious that she loves what she does! i love to support family run businesses, and seeing someone passionate about what they do and not just trying to make an extra buck is so refreshing!
in terms of the menu, the food was very nicely presented and delicious too! it is the perfect size: not too large, and offering a nice selection of antipasti and tapas that pair wonderfully with their wines! i did not order any of the beers myself, but the friend i came with tried a few and said they were fantastic! i had a few sips, and although not a huge beer fan myself, am actually planning on exploring a few next time i go in.. they don't serve any American brews, but instead have a large selection of eastern European beers which neither of us had seen anywhere else, and we were very pleasantly surprised by their quality!
i highly recommend jerzy's wine bar to anyone looking for great wine, delicious food, and genuine service, in an environment unlike any other on the eastside!
