My neighbor had recommended Maple's Tree Specialists. We had 2 very tall maple trees in our back yard. One of them had rotted and split off a huge portion which hit our house. We had Maple's come out to cut both trees down. Not only was their price lower than 3 other quotes that I had received, they were also licensed and insured. Our lot is not very big and I had to be sure the neighbors' fences stayed in tact. The gentleman cut both trees (the split one being very dangerous to be in) with great confidence and care. There was no damage to the nearby fences. It was also very fun to watch.

I was very unhappy with Maple Tree specialists. The story starts last winter when we had the big wind storms. The winds blew down a few big limbs from some of our maple trees and put a hole in one of our ponds. A couple of months later I fixed the hole in the pond and called Maple tree service and asked them to cut down all the trees around the pond so they would no longer be a hazard. I asked them to be careful and take measures not the damage the ponds. The people they brought spent very little in cutting down all the trees and took no measures to protect the ponds. They ended up completely ruining my ponds.

They were very adamant in collecting there money (which I paid directly upon request) at that time I also informed them of the damage done to my ponds. I never heard a reply. I made another call complaining about the damage and still never heard from them

This all happened months ago and I never heard from them. I hope my experience helps in your choice for a tree service in the future.
