My husband and I stayed at the Inn several times while visiting our son and looking to buy a house. We were always comfortable and well fed and kept coming back because we felt so welcomed. I always looked forward to a marvelous breakfast! We loved wandering around the grounds, into the woods and down by the waterfall and pond. When we would come back after a long day it was like coming home. They only bad thing about finally buying a house on Camano Island was not coming back to the Inn to stay!

I wonder where rickhilles was describing. It certainly wasn't A Cottage Creek Inn. Maybe she was having a bad hair day or something.
Having traveled around the world monthly for many years, staying in the best hotels and inns, I'm accustomed to high standards of lodging.
Cottage Creek ranks right up there with the best in terms of beautiful surroundings, graceful and efficient hosts, wonderful breakfasts that change daily and comfort. While the website is quite accurate in what it pictures, it can't encompass what you'll find here.
The grounds are beautiful. One day, returning from an early dinner, we saw two deer, a young buck and an older one placidly munching on the leaves of an apple tree. While they were aware of our presence, they were clearly not fearful of us.
I guess they were enjoying the peace and beauty of this delightful place, as we were.
My partner and I rate this as a 10 with no reservations.

My wife and I recently visited the Cottage Creek Inn in Redmond Washington July 6-10th 2008 and totally disagree with the other review we just read about it. Both Jeanette and Steve were very welcoming to all that entered their B&B and made all guests feel at home. There was no yelling or ranting about as the other reviewer states. The food was wonderful especially the stuffed french toast. The bacon at breakfast was top notch quality with no fat. We searched many other sites for B&B's in the Seattle area looking for what you would get for your money and the rates at the Cottage Creek Inn were perfect. The relaxing music being played in the morning was wonderful. The B&B is located off the road away giving it a relaxed atmosphere perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The room we stayed in was the garden suite which was neat and clean. The mini frig in the room was perfect for chilling your drinks before a day out in the community.
Our rating for this B&B would be a B+ for the time we stayed. If someone is not happy with a buisness I would think they would let the management know what their concerns were before leaving instead of after the fact. We would recommend the Cottage Creek Inn to anyone looking for a place to relax.
Sincerely,
