I love fish & chips but I shouldn't eat them. You know why, because they're greasy and very fattening. So if I am going to have fish and chips I want the best. This is where you'll get them. The Pacific Inn is a well know working mans pub on the edge of the Fremont neighborhood in N. Seattle. The atmosphere is friendly if a little dingy. It's a great place to have a sandwich and a couple of beers or some of the best fish & chips in town. The fish fillets are good sized slabs of Ling Cod with an English style batter. The fries at the P.I. are fresh frozen. They are the best the fries you'll have anywhere in town. A small cup of cole slaw accompanies the meal along with tarter and ketchup. The portion is generous and there's certainly enough for 2 people to share.
