User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI just got back so here is how it went... we got there and seated ourselves noticing the place was somewhat busy from people there to eat dinner as were we. We ordered our drinks and they arrived relatively fast, and then ordered our food. Right off, the drinks were made wrong. They tasted nasty. This happens sometimes, but the real problem was that we couldn't get help for 45 minutes! Around the time our food came we were able to re-order new drinks. The food is GREAT! And the proportions are humongous! Of course we didn't get our new drinks until AFTER we finished eating (which sucked because it was a hot day and we didn't even get served ice water so had nothing to wash our food down with). When the next round of drinks came we found them to be sub-par but at least made right. We drank our drinks and asked for boxes and a check which our server came back with thirty minutes later. So to sum it up, the food and atmosphere are the only things going for Doofers. We did notice the obvious regulars received alot more attention while we were completely ignored. The service was terrible, and the drinks were not very good. I would rec that you just go to Doofers to get takeout food and skip the dine in experience.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDoofer's is my favorite place to go when I come home from school! I have really great relationships with everyone that works there, and the food is amazing! I would recommend the Sliders, for sure (with cheese of course)! And, try out the daily specials every once in awhile because they are usually unique and the chef puts a lot of effort into them in order to make them delicious! The daily soups are a must... you gotta try them. SO yummy! They have a really nice atmosphere... there is fun for everyone... the family eating section is separate from the bar, so all ages are welcome! If you do anything in Renton... you gotta check out this place!
