| About: | While eggs, potatoes and breakfast meats are all tasty and well-seasoned, pancakes of all kinds earn the top marks in this tiny triangular diner called the Glo's . Lemon Poppyseed Pancakes are out of this world. They're fluffy inside, crisp at the edges and drizzled with warm lemon curd and powdered sugar. Weekday service is generally speedy, but on sunny weekends, just pull up an outside chair, grab a cup of coffee, relax and await your reward. No off-street parking is available. |

I just ate there. I loved every minute of it; savored it. The eggs are perfectly seasoned and it all tastes so fresh and delicious. The best toast, rich and just the right amount of crisp. I waited for five minutes outside in the cold, but worth the deliciousness. People were nice and they played fun classic rock along with some of my contemporary favorites. What a way to start off the year!
Seattle's best breakfast: Glo's makes the meanest breakfast in Seattle. Call ahead though because the wait is long. I always get the glo's special, a scramble with mushrooms and other goodness.
Worth the Wait - Or Eat Week Days: This place has a long (and well deserved) wait on the weekends. They have the best eggs benedict/florentine in the city. Super good eats - not so cheap. Great staff!
