| About: | Tucked away in a shady spot on 45th Street is this immensely popular Japanese eatery. There is no getting around the fact that things at this stylish, little place are cramped most nights. What brings in the crowds is the wonderful sushi, but the teriyaki, curries and tempura are also good. The menu is extensive and the food is reasonably priced. There is also a good selection of vegetarian dishes including vegetable skewers and rolls. |

This is the best sushi I've found in Seattle.
So many other places charge too much for great atmosphere and poor sushi. This place has great prices and great flavors. If you're looking for good sushi and sashimi, this is the place. There is always a line out the door.
Would never be back for sushi. If you are on a budget then the sushi is ok but i would pay more for better ambience and better quality sushi.
Worth the wait!: I'm a bit of a self-proclaimed sushi snob. I don't really care about ambiance, but I am rather particular when it comes to the correct temperature, quality and size of my raw fish!
This was my first visit to Musashi's but from what I'm told you will almost always wait to be seated. So don't think you're going to pop-in for a quick bite. Be prepared to put your name on a list and wait a while... but the sushi and the price make is well worth the wait. For about 23$ my partner and I walked away sated and satisfied we got our money's worth.
Think of Mushashi's as a hip place to take a date, who loves shushi. You will have plenty of time to chat out front while you wait for your table and once you get your table in the very "cozy" seating area (roughly the size of 1983 Cadillac sedan) you will both revel at the uncharacteristically low prices, large pieces, and high quality.
Enjoy,
