Walked in and some of the donuts looked real good. Giant cinnamon roll with what looked to be a cream cheese type icing made my eyes excited. To bad the guy behind the counter was sleeping and wouldnt wake up. I spoke up, that didnt wake him. I wasnt about to scream, so I stood there for another couple minutes then just walked out. Apparently I wasnt meant to have donuts from here today. I gave it two stars based on the look of the donuts, probably would have been 4 or 5 stars had I gotten the chance to taste one.

Visit Ly's for the best donuts in town!: Ly (pronounced Lee), the owner of Ly's Donut Company, must think I'm an officer of the law due to the amount of time I spend visiting his establishment. I always pick up a few chocolate French crullers (pronounced crillers) and an apple fritter. Ly's donuts are fresh, big, value priced and handed to you from the owner. If you find yourself heading through the U-district or Roosevelt via 45th Ave. N.E. or Roosevelt Way, stop in and meet Ly and try one of his donuts. You'll most likely end up telling all of your friends to join you next time.
