User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! Seattle Mortgage waited until after we signed and within hours changed our closing by almost $700.00. They knew in advance they were going to do it, but they had Chicago Title MAIL the new closing papers so they wouldn't have to explain their reasons. We paid the buyer's house insurance for one year, according to the new papers. I should mail them my purse - usually when I'm robbed like that, they take my purse.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsComplete frustration: I just had a repeat proformance of really bad service from this company. I've called and left messages with no returned calls several days later. I had the same experiance with this company serveral years ago but I mistakenly thought; with a different agent things would change. It must be part of the company culture to provide bad service.

Try another broker...: My experience with Seattle Mortgage was not pleasant. I was enticed into using them by a discount. I guess I get what I pay for. They were unresponsive and would not return phone calls or emails. They lost documentation that was provided to them. And they failed to deliver documents to my lawyer who was handling the closing in a timely manner so we were not able to close on the date we were supposed to.
