my Girlfriend ordered the fish and rice dish, however, her salmon was raw/red inside, she asked the waiter to cook it more. After 15 minutes, they come back with a black fish, so dry the fork wouldnât even cut it and it was burnt all over. we showed the fish to the waiter, and he called the manager. The manager came over and looked at her very condescending and all he said was âIâll take care of itâ. At that point my girl friend asked him to make the order to go since it was too late. we sat there for an hour that night, without food and without any apologies from the restaurant staff. As we were coming out of the restaurant, the owner ran after us, called me a Mother F***er and my girl friend a bit**! He grabbed my collar and told me to go to the back alley so he can show me! We ended up calling the police and we filled an assault case against the restaurant. This happened on Friday night December 12.
Great Main Course: The main courses were everyone at the table (8 of us) all enjoyed the food. The plates were enough to feed to people but the price was a little high. I was a little disappointed with the pita could have been fresher and baba ganoush was only fair. I would certainly go back but I would probably not order the appetizers
Best Persian Food in Seattle: Caspian Grill is my favorite restaurant. Having lived in Seattle my whole life, my family only goes here. It is the closest we have found to be the most tasteful if not better than what you'd find in any restaurant in Iran. The Caspian Grill has the best meat of all the restaurants we've encountered. It is by far better than anything you'll find down in Tehran Angeles, and is famous for its weekend events. For its bellydancing and live music shows. I don't think there is an Iranian in Seattle who'd disagree with me. If they did, they'd be lying. Anyways, I just thought I'd drop a line to anyone interested in a great meal and a bit of a cultural experience. Even there walls are marked with paintings from back home. Its like a little museum in the heart of the University district. Caspain Grill is the best Persian food in Seattle.
