| About: | The menu offers breakfast and lunch, but make no mistake about it, as the main attraction is the diner itself, a greasy place that serves as a Mecca for a group of regulars enjoying a night on the town. This cafe dates back to World War II, so it is no surprise that it has acquired a musty character over the years. You may not be able to make out your friends through the smoky air, but half the fun of coming is to try. Typical American pub grub is offered, heavier than usual with greaseburgers, fries, sandwiches and the like. Breakfast is available all day. There is a full bar and the beer selection is broad. |

Mecca Cafe offers the BEST jukebox in Queen Anne!
I would HIGHLY recommend their bacon... have it with anything.. Good LORD is it good. One more thing.. You definitely have to try their meatloaf... I know .. I know.. it's something you normally would not have.. but I guarantee you that you will be satisfied with the homestyle cookin'!
Time to get Meccanized: Great place to go if you like greasy-spoon type food, $1 Miller High Life pints during home sport games, a rockin' loud soundtrack, and a retro style that you just can't get anymore. The bars colorfully decorated in patron coaster art and random Seattle-esque coolness. Not for those sensative to smoke, as whether your an addict or not, you leave the place smelling of an ashtray. Also to note, the food is great, and the prices are even better- plus, you can't beat those homemade waffles at 1 in the morning, washed down with a pint of beer!
Good eats in Queen Anne, anytime of day or night..: A Seattle classic. This dinner has routes that date back to before the 1930s and has survived the hipsterization of Queen Anne. Possibly the best bacon ever. One friend says, "this bacon is made with love."
