User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIt's Wonderful: Who would have thought that deep in the basement under Easy Street Records laid the greatest bar known to man. Sounds like a bold boast I know, but The Corner Pocket is just that. Not a place to be seen like the cheesy Matador or the West 5. This is a hangout for real people who don't care about designer labels, or cosmopolitans, or any other ridiculous trend that comes around. On any given night you can find a good number of regulars that possess their own local flavor, along with some fantastic bartenders that will keep your pint full and keep you in stitches as well. The food is pretty good with daily speacials that range from gumbo, to pasta to tacos. I haven't been to another bar since I slunk in 5 months ago!
