This is one of the top coffee houses in Seattle: So what makes a coffee house good? Come here and find out. The service here is surperb, they have a good selection of pastries and the local art on the walls adds character to an already great place. This place drawas a varied cliental which prevents it from having an aire about it. They did have music on the night I was there, but it wasnt my kind of music and it was a bit loud so I left early. I did have an awesome Caramel Macchiato which had the perfect sweetness and the latte art on top was some of the best ive seen (I had to take a picture of it with my cell phone). There are plenty of wall outlets for those of us with labtops and some tables have a little reading lamp which makes it a cosy place to curl up with a good book and a excellent latte.
Great place for coffee, food, and hanging out: Locally-owned and run, Victrola makes some of the best coffee in Seattle. Their sandwiches are also great and often over-looked. It's a great place to study or meet friends, and there are a few seats outside in front in addition to inside. At peak times, it can be a bit crowded, but it's still a great place nonetheless.
