I have been going to the clinic for several years and always had good results. In the last year, I have had one problem after another. In the past 6 months, two out of three times I've had to get lab work, the paperwork generated by their office for basic lab tests have been consitently rejected by the lab as Cosmedic staff didn't fill it out correctly. Just after having to return to their office to get the right lab paperwork, my prescription form was not filled out correctly, resulting in hassles from the pharmacy and another unnecessary return trip to the office to get it corrected. The new staff seems unconcerned about the inconvenience and time this costs me, not to mention the potential consequences of these errors. The last straw was that I paid over $38.00 for one small bottle of their in-house skin-care prescription that expired in 3 weeks from the date I recived it! I didn't notice the expiration date until I got home. Having had the medication many times before in the past, I know that that it should have a viable shelf life of at least 6 months. When I called to question why I received a medication that was to expire in 3 weeks and to request a replacement, I could never reach a live person, even though I called durung their normal business hours. Despite the fact that I left a message each time I called, I never even got the courtesy of a return call. I am not a crabby client and have exercised extreme patience with these people. Yet no matter how politely I ask for a return call, they fail to respond.
As much as I like their products, the hassles involved in getting basic things done is just too much. NOT getting return phone call tells me that they really don't care about my business.
So I have taken my 2 sons, 3 of my friends and myself to another clinic that actually does return calls and gets things done right.
Your experience sounds bad indeed - and I apologize that you felt you were not treated with the attention you deserve. I am not quite sure why you were not able to get through to us during normal hours - and I apologize that you received a near expired bottle of acne healer. I hope that you let us exchange that for you -- we of course would do that and I apologize that you also had difficulty with your accutane prescription. I take review like yours very seriously - as they are quite abnormal We operate a very successful, personal, and caring business -- and I hate to think that you felt anything less than that about us. If you would ever like to come in and let me make it up to you in person - I would gladly offer you a free replacement acne healer and sit with you to discuss how I can make this right. Your happiness is important to me - as it is with all my patients. Please call me or my manager Kate directly at 206-622-6444. Again, I apologize that you were unhappy.
I was freaked out to go to a medispa - but was treated very well and actually enjoyed myself here. They cleared my acne up and I sent my sister in for Botox. Really a class act place and a great doctor.
