LOOK FORWARD GOING BACK: GREAT PLACE TO BE WHEN I WAS WITH MY BOYFRIEND. VERY ROMANTIC AT NIGHT. AMAZING VIEW ONCE UP ON TOP OF THE NEEDLE. = ) DEFINATELY A RECOMMENDED PLACE TO BE.
Costly, but worth every dollar!!: The Space Needle restaurant has all the makings of a fine eatery, which include a fine revolving view atop the Space Needle itself, and a mouthwatering menu. It was undoubtedly the most expensive place I ever ate at, but well worth every single dollar. My meal here was a full one, save for the appetizer, which I skipped as I headed right for the main course. My dinner was Alaskan king crab legs, sweet and tender, and accompanied by a salad accented with wheat berries. I had never heard of wheat berries before, but found them delectable. Dessert was an ice cream sundae covered in chocolate syrup, and, as the menu proclaimed, "served in a haze of Seattle fog." True to its description, the waitress brought it out, "steaming" over a special holder in the dish filled with dry ice, amid comments from other tables of, "Ooooooh, look at that!" Talk about saving the best for last. That dessert truly exceeded my expectations, both in taste and appearance, and makes me feel I cannot wait to take my husband with me to share in this experience when we visite Seattle together one day soon.
