Creative drinks, decent food.: This place has a funky moroccan vibe to it with cozy booths and pillows, but I prefer the outside patio if there's no smokers there. Fresh air, second floor allows for much people watching without being on the sidewalk. The drinks are fun and creative and affordable during happy hour. The food is tasty too, with lots of veg options. Only issue: someone needs to teach the cook how to layer fillo correctly. It is not flaky and light, but the doughyness is a fun change.
Great place: We loved the evening we spent at the Capitol Club. The ambiance is great, and the food is fabulous.
You should go...: Enter in to the sultry world of savory, evenly matched, delictable creations. We feasted on multiple appetizers that sampled some of our favorite ingredients-goat cheese, tenderly cooked asparagus, divinely salty olives, and tender cooked chicken with just the right amount of Moraccan spice. The waiter quickly learned my taste in wine and fetched me a bottle from the basement that was not on the menu. Friendly servers, a chef worthy of worship, and groovy atmosphere. Come early to take it all in, and stay late for drinks.
