| About: | Argentina is known for its vast grasslands (Pampas) where the cattle industry flourished for the last 140 years. Argentine beef is considered among the best in the world. Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is influenced by European culture, mainly Italian, Spanish, French, and English. The restaurants of this city are a perfect marriage of these origins, but the grill is the centerpiece. They serve the highest quality beef and lamb in a very eclectic atmosphere. The meat is placed atop wood fired grills to sear, then it is finished over charcoal to ensure that all flavors and natural juices are retained, enhancing the tenderness of the meat in the process. The Buenos Aires Grill, the first truly Argentine steak house in Seattle. Welcome and Enjoy! |

I had been looking forward to going to this restaurant for months and i finally went last night and it was a disappointment. The service was not good. I was expecting a good tango show and it wasn't. It's a couple dancing around the restaurant like five times and in the the table we were seating only three of us got a glimpse of the dancers the rest of our party didn't get to see them at all which is really upsetting considering you need to spend at least $30 per person for the show they didn't get to see. The food was OK but for the price you have to pay I expect the food to be great not ok. Desserts were no good at all. We drove from Olympia just to go to this restaurant and it wasn't worth it.
A recent first visit will be our last. As we have actually been to Buenos Aires and eaten the 'real Argentinian dishes' depicted in the menu, we can safely say that this place does not deliver. The music was a too-loud, sad mix of Latin knock-offs - none of it from Argentina. No Tango dancers in sight as promised. Cold draft wafting by our feet. Meat was over-seasoned and over-cooked. But anyone who lives in the area would not know the difference between this and the 'real thing'. Adios amigos!!
Go very hungry- the portions are enormous, the food is delicious, the wines are fantastic and the whole experience is unique and fun. We enjoyed watching the dancers tango, and it was a great place for either a wonderful dinner for two or a larger party with friends. I'd definitely recommend reservations for Friday or Saturday nights.
