| About: | This barbecue joint has managed to outlive many of its neighbors. The decor is virtually nonexistent, unless you consider outdoor tables and take out windows decor, but the eatery serves up delicious helpings of its specialitypork. The meat is offered in just about every shape and size, and slathered with one of the best barbeque sauces in town. Unless you have a tongue of steel, or you are feeling adventurous, you might want to stay away from the hot sauce. |

BBQ in Washington huh. Don't think so folks. Come to Texas for the real thing.
Great sandwiches! The pulled pork, medium, is a must have. I get the craving once a month and I leave work early to drive by there. You can "spike-it" and get a spicy sausage link added in, but its almost too much food. The only downfalls to Pecos is that its cash-only and only open on weekdays. Don't get anything hotter than Medium, as you end up just burning your mouth without being able to enjoy the flavor.
Unless you work in this area, Monday through Friday you can never go there! Weekend or evening hours would be nice.
