The name Meskel aptly represents Ethiopia as it is actually an annual religious holiday celebrated in the country in a big way. The homely feeling one gets here is not fabricated, one is actually dining in the former living-room of a house converted into the restaurant. Large open windows let in the light and fresh breeze, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. While the menu chiefly consists of meat preparations, vegans also have a good list to choose from. A favorite among students and young professionals, the place continues to excel for its rock-bottom meal prices.
Meskel serves good authentc Ethiopian food and it is one of the finest among other restuarants. The ambiance and decoraion is good. However, you can not find a menu with $5.00 as it reviewd on yelp. I think, the reviewer made a mistake.I recommend the reestauarnt.
