About:Specializing in small plates to share, Lark's stated mission is to "use sustainable products from trusted artisans." Chef Jonathan Sundstrom, named Best Chef Northwest by the James Beard Foundation for 2007, creates inspired dishes with thoughtfully sourced ingredients like produce from "Billy's Farm" in the Okanogan. Originally built in the 1920s, the comfortable space retains the rustic farmhouse wood-beam ceiling and original plank floors from the bakery formerly housed here. Sample several artisan cheeses and then experiment with slightly risque items like Snake River Farms beef tartare with Roquefort, mizuna and pickled beet or instead sample the Pommes de terre "Robuchon" for a safer bet.

Great restaurant! The food and service is to die for. We requested the owner to prepare whatever she felt is perfect for us and it was the finest dinner we had for long time. You must come and experience this exquisite dinning, LOVE IT

Two Hours of Pain: Lark came with very high recommendations from restaurant guides and internet sources. For the life of me I can not understand why. My wife and I were there for about 2.5 hours and were frustrated with how slowly the food came out. The "tapas," while relatively tasty, were not worth the money. It made me wonder...Do people not realize that for the money you pay for one mini-dish at Lark, you can get a full-sized, equally delicious meal at your neighborhood eatery? The positives of Lark are that it is unique, the hostesses / waitresses are friendly, and the food is good. However, it is far too expensive and the service is much too slow for what you pay for. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

On a Lark: This joint was good, be warned, it's like tapas and best to share. Portions are tiny because each item is a mini shareable though the prices make it seem otherwise.
