About:	Tucked away in the hip Capitol Hill neighborhood, this vegan eatery offers an offbeat ambiance and heaping plates of home cooking. Graphic design art hangs from the walls, large, clear-plastic slabs with intriguing news stories printed on them dangle from the ceiling, and an old upright piano sits in the front window waiting to be played. Choose from fluffy biscuits and gravy, enormous pancakes or the tastiest item, the tofu scramble. Served with corn hash, potatoes, thick wheat toast or tortillas, your stomach will be heavy as you walk out the door. Completing the funky atmosphere - the alternative, tattooed and surly staff yell out the names of "under the weather" customers - sometimes five times before smashing the plates down on the appropriate table. For a bittersweet memory, buy a beige shirt with a Potato on the front and The Globe's logo on the back.
