I have been going to Pearl Optical for over 10 years and have never, ever had a bad experience. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, professional, and knowledgable. I recommend their office to anyone and everyone seeking quality eye exams and products. Feedback from those referrals have always been very positive.
I'm sorry I ever set foot inside Pearl Optical. I have never been served by such incompetence ever. I had my eyes examined on a Saturday and was done. When I get home I get a message from Lisa saying she forgot to give me some sort of test. So I have to drive all the way back there. Then I had some problems with my insurance and they failed to follow up so I had to take care of it through my employer. Then they took their sweet time getting my order sent off. Then I get a call from Lisa again saying that I will get a refund of $8.00 so when I come in bring my credit card and they will reimburse me. Great. So today I go to get my glasses and Lisa was rude to me and very unprofessional. Lisa denied calling me and denied every saying I woud get a refund. So I demanded they look at my chart and sure enough there was the note. I want people to know how incompetent these people are and how much they really care about their patients.
EXCELLENT customer service, however, I do not like the fact that I need to go in 2+ times just to get my contact prescription. I don't have that kind of time and I am not willing to have to keep taking time off work just to make it to an appointment. They need to get me in and out all in one sitting. The only time I want to go back is to pick up my contacts.

You're one of the lucky ones. FYI, Pearle centers are franchises and prices do vary from store to store for the same product. I've had both good and bad experiences. Opticians are making fortunes overcharging for frames that cost only a few dollars. Laser surgery may be the best money saver.
