Sunday brunch at Randy's has become a family tradition every year when my Grandmother celebrates her birthday.
The crew there are always courteous and willing to help get tables, chairs, arranged and booster seats for my kids.
Sunday brunch is the best and is always filling.
However it is expensive and busy.
Still ever sence I was a boy Randy's is one of my favorite, origional eateries in Skagit county!
5 Stars every visit!
Our experience was horrible. While our waitress was attentive, the service was extremely slow, perhaps more so because we sat at the outdoor patio... with ants. By the end of the meal ants were crawling all over everything on the table.
Don't order the vegetables as a side item unless you want vegetable soup in a butter broth. My friend's $24.50 "Crab Stuffed Jumbo Prawns" were 5 regular sized shrimp with Krab on top. It was topped with about a gallon of what tasted like powdered hollandaise sauce. My Sauteed "Seafood Platter" was mainly submerged in more butter sauce. When we complained about the quality not living up to the price, the management refused to compromise.
I've eaten at Randy's a few times, when I have visitors I want to take out to dinner, that is the place. As stated in another review, it is unpretentious, but the food and the view of the water is excellent. Every time I have gone there I was pleased with the quantity and quality of the food. Sitting in a booth or table by the windows, watching the sunset and the otters play is just that little extra that makes it special.
