User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love love love this place and we go at least once a month for dinner and/or ice cream. I love the staff!!! I've used the back room for a birthday party and the owner personally made the birthday cakes and did a superb job for a very comparable price. The food is good and the atmosphere is great!!!

I would have to say that after eating breakfast at many restaurants in the area, the Local Scoop's are the best! The quality is great, the portion's are huge, the service is warm and helpful and it is just a fun place to eat. I especially love the veggie omelette with all of the veggies and cheese oozing out of the fluffy eggs. YUMMY! Try it, you'll love it.

New owners...if you thought the food was good before!!!AND they are now open for breakfast 6 a.m. till 11:00 a.m...evenings they're open till 8..maybe later this summer. All breakfast items from scratch and they do catering and parties.
