I agree with the person below, China H. used to be very good, but it has gone downhill. The last time I went there, the place was so dirty I could not believe they were still open, let alone serving food there! The food was very bad as well -- very greasy and extremely small portions for what they were charging.

I have lived in Lake Stevens for 18 yrs and the China House has been going down hill since bought by new owners, they can't seem to keep a good cook, it has been hit and miss.....till they get a good cook I will eat in China Town !!!

Best Chinese Restaurant in Lake Stevens!!!: This is by far, hands down, the absolute BEST chinese restaurant in all of Washington!!! I moved here from California (Bay area) so I guess you can call me a Chinese food conniseur. This place definitely can compare to those of California's! This is because they are a family owned restaurant with the most friendly wait staff and owners around!

Plus, they offer a homestyle warm environment feeling--great for the entire family. It is great for families, they have great food with ENORMOUS portion sizes at crazily good prices. I eat here at least once a week! My kids always beg me to come here to dine-in or order to-go! You should definitely give it a try, and I can honestly say it is authentic Chinese cuisine because it is runned and cooked by Chinese people--unlike other restaurants who are owned, operated, and have cooks who are not. This makes a BIG difference people!

Looks can be deceiving, although they are fairly small, and cannot be easily visualized from the main road (91st Ave NE), they are there, just stop by and I promise you won't be disappointed!!! Don't ever judge a book by its cover. Go in, sit down, dine-in, and I swear you will thank me! Oh, and by the way, besides being a fantastic family restaurant--they also just renovated and having an amazing lounge--time for you bar lovers to check it out! Food is also served in the bar!

China House Rocks!!! Some of my favorite dishes are their Mongolian Beef (it is to die for!), China House Chow Mein and Fried Rice, their Lemon Chicken, Almond Fried Chicken, and the best Hot and Sour Soup I have EVER had in my life!!! No joke!
