These apartments are very well kept and clean. We moved in a 2 bedroom in summer of 2007 and felt very lucky. We still do. We recently moved into a three bedroom. Its conveniently located to everything. Management is very accomodating and seem to care about all tenants. The neighbors are very friendly without being overly friendly. The basketball court and fitness center are small but cozy. The best alternative to owning your own home.
We like the location! You can walk to Safeway and Haggen grocery stores, Kent Prairie Elementary School, Arlington Family Medicine, and a few other medical facilities like dentist, physical therapy, etc.
There is also a bus stop very close by with Community Transit #227 (to/from Everett Boeing), #230 (Smokey Point-Darrington), and #240 (Stanwood-Arlington). You can transfer in Smokey Point to go to Lynnwood or Everett (and onto Seattle by bus or Sound Transit train). You can very well live without a car.

This apartment is very popular and almost always full. In March of 2007 we took the only unit that was (sort of) available. The former tenant had just moved out that morning. We happened to be here at the right time! In July of 2008 when we tried to get an apartment for a friend nothing was available. Recommend getting on the waiting list at least five weeks before you would like to move in.
The same apartment managing company also manages South Village Apartments (360-403-7184) less than a mile away. Its location is equally great and it's new (built in 2007) but we heard their waiting list is even longer. They have one bedroom apartments which Kent Prairie Apartments don't.
