Olympic Theater - Arlington

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: Having been born and raised in Arlington, the Olympic Theater was a must on Friday nights. We saw 2 movies, newsreel, cartoon, and previews all for the small price of 25 cents. I went back, after 50 plus years, to find the theater full of old time memories. The concession stand was moved and other small changes had been made. But, it was the same theater I remember as a kid. It's an old time, fun place to "go to the movies."

First of all the Olympic is a great little theater with super reasonable prices. It cannot be compared to a cinema with new seats etc. because it is older but the prices reflect the difference.
Heres the deal, if you are thinking of going to the Olympic, then know that it is cheap, the food is cheap and the seats are just OK. The owner is a great lady and the place is super family friendly. We love this theater and take our kids once a month.

terrible seats: This theater is like the theaters from old times. Family orientated and part of the town, it definately stands out. There is one thing however that it lacks. Comfortable seats. While watching a movie the viewer must frequently reposition themselves in hopes of finding a pain free movie experiance, but this is impossible. Otherwise, I would highly advise people to check this theater out. It has great prices on admission and treats.
