Hi, I'm looking for a cook/bartender named Phil (Phillip Polk) anyone know him?
Cali Girl
I brought my motley crew of Polar Bears here after our Certified Insane Skykomish River Polar Bear Plunge on 1/1/08, and the food was great. They were not expecting a dozen people to show up all at once, but they took care of all of us, and the atmosphere was great. I warmed my bones against their fireplace (gas-powered but very rustic), and ordered a round of hot cocoa for all my Polar Bears. Very friendly, excellent food, according to the adult and children Polar Bears.
I was particularly pleased that they were open on New Year's Day. The Index Cafe up the road was completely out of food, and they suggested Prospector's. We will DEFINITELY be hitting the Prospector's next year - everybody agrees on that. My Polar Bears know good food - all twelve of us. The kids seemed to really like the place - nice TV showing cartoons, and very interesting decor, yes, even the kids commented about the decor to me.
The place is warm and friendly, and we really enjoyed gabbing while 70+MPH winds whipped trees around outside. Quite a perfect finish to a wonderful New Year's Day. And I find the food very reasonably priced.
sorry: it is very over prices and the food is not good they are not friendy
