User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsi am no food snob...but i ordered a steak fajita salad "to go"... had to wait for it to get ready ( which means it was "fresh" when i took it ) and opened it up in the car to make sure they got it right... the tostada shell was completley SOGGY, the lettuce was SOGGY, they didnt include any sour cream or salsa like i requested and there were WHOLE MUSHROOMS AND CARROTS IN IT! WTF? to top it off, there were ( oh yes, i counted...) 4 strips of steak total. the whole thing was so gross.

The funny thing is though, if you go to the one in Snohomish, Lake Stevens or Duvall, none of them compare to how good the one in Monroe is!! I've been eating at Ixtapa since I was a little girl when it was down on Main St. My dad is friends with a lot of employees due to the fact we ate there so much!! I only have two words to say about their food, LOVE IT!!! If you haven't had it yet, you need to try it!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsEnjoying Ixtapa since it was a dive on Main St: I remember eating at Ixtapa as a child. The first time I went, I had a hamburger but tasted my mom's Chicken en Mole. I was instanly hooked and have been ordering for years. I no longer live in WA state but when I visit my family, I always stop in. They have several locations (including OR) but I've found the WA locations are the best. Happy dining!
