| About: | Whoever said "Life is good at the beach" was right. The Beach House proves this by offering a delicious menu on the sun kissed shores of Purdy. Saunter in wearing your thongs, shorts and beach hats - the casual attire is seriously followed. You can enjoy steaks, grilled seafood, chicken plates, salads et al whilst sipping on fruity beverages or wines. Beer can be guzzled too on sultry days. Happy Hour is from 4p-5p daily. And if you're late, relax, the party goes on until the wee hours of the morning. The Beach House is open daily from 3 pm. |

Restaurant has been reopened: All the reviews previously were for the late great Beach House. Margarita Beach cafe is the new name, same owner. Much more casual. This is a great place in the summer time. They have an inexpensive bar menu. Most entrees are in the $15 range. I had the Pork BBQ sliders and the Caesar salad tonight and they were both excellent. I'm not crazy about the margaritas though. A little on the tart side.

looking out at the water and enjoying great friends and awesome food. The prices are above average but well worth the little extra cost! Tucked away and cozy you will love this Place!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHomestyle Decadence: We were instantly made to feel right at home by the friendly, attentive staff, seated in an elegant, tastefully decorated room, with an incredible view of the beach at sunset. The ambience and scenery alone made for a fabulous dining experience, but then we were just as captivated by the tasty, hand-crafted creations like roasted oysters, crab bisque, and the best steaks, grilled to perfection! After finishing off with their hand-dipped truffles, we left completlely satisfied, and will be sure to return soon. Worth every bite!
