Benz Connection is a small repair facility located on the outskirts of a small community. We were very excited about having the option to have our Mercedes serviced locally. What we didn't expect was the horrendous service. This facility has taken price gouging and turned it into a science! They completed work that was not authorized and they applied a 60% markup, SIXTY PERCENT, from OEM pricing on every replacement part! If you have a choice for your repairs, I suggest find an alternate shop! You will thank me for it.....

Not even close to the truth ! I gave Jeff Jelinek (aka-Frugal coach) a quote on oct. 22 2009 when he brought in his car for check engine light and water in shifter ,the car was in limp mode and hardly ran , also i had a customer here that liked the car and made Jeff an offer on the car as well ,Jeff denied the offer , he came back on his own free will on nov. 02 2009 to fix his car . ! His car was fixed to what was signed on two quote sheets and four repair orders , and three credit card slips , it wasnt untill the final bill where Jeff tried to get his bill reduced because he found something on the internet cheaper , well Jeff had from oct 22 to Nov 3 to check internet but did not and had no complants untill the final bill . To prove the parts discount i called the dealer myself and ask how much were these parts , and i was $952.36 cheaper just on the first 5 iteams on the repair order. Jeff didnt want to hear that ,cause it is the truth , i have all the proof here in my office and would have no problem with explaining the truth , instead of lies like the post from Frugal coach . Im Eric and im here to serve gig harbor and the surounding areas for your complete auto repair and service needs . Thank you for taking the time to read.I guess three customers like Jeff in 8 years is pretty good ! I guess the point im making is if there is a problem with something or someone , talk face to face , cause leaving messages like Jeffs with no proof , and chargeback your credit card , (attempted credit card fraud), says what kind of man he is !
Eric, These are the facts... The car did not require $ 4,400.00 to correct the transmission. Fact, You completed work that I had not authorized. Fact, you substantially overcharged for the parts. Instead of making this personal, just man up! You need to change the way you do business! You cannot expect to be able to take advantage of customers with any backlash. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. lets wait for the results!
Man up ! You should take your own advise , you said to do it all and i have your signature that you signed to prove it , so Man up Jeff and sell your car that you cant afford , thats what it comes down to ! YOU AUTHORIZED EVERYTHING! I sure dont hear any complants about the way the car runs , and as far as the transmission work 199- trans service and flush ,175- 24 qts fully syn. trans fluid (REQUIRED)in case you cant add , thats 7.29 a qt. 39.00 for trans cleaner kit , 42.00 for electric plug ,and 538.00 for the electric shifter (witch you left your sunroof open in the rain twice and ruined it) thats 993.00 for trans service, flush, and shifter! Call the dealer and see how much a trans shifter is ! Now as for tune up let me explain AGAIN to you in case you didnt get it the first time , coils i charged you 990.00 for 6 , dealer 1321.32 for six, spark plug wires , i charged you 360.00 for 12, yes m/b has two spark plugs and wire per cylinder! Dealer charges 552.00 for same wires ,spark plugs , i charged 119.88 for 12 , dealer 157.56 , o2 sensors i charged 788.00 for all four , dealer 1179.36 , SO added all up i saved you 952.36 , and thats a fact, and can be proven , get your numbers right before you make stuff up !
