I don't remember the OHT as a "hole in the wall" place. It was "the place" when I was stationed at Whidbey. Great place for a beer and hanging out with your buddies. First place I had a legal drink (1962). My wife and I used to go there after bowling for drinks with our friends. Hope it is still the friendly, neighborhood place it was then. Jim Jernigan played guitar in a small, country band on Friday/Saturday nights. Any one remember?

This is a hole in the wall kind of place where you can sit down have a beer or 4, talk to probably the friendliest people on earth and just watch the world go by. Of all the bars I have been in in my 24 years of LEGAL drinking, this by far is my favorite.
hole in the wall tavern!: well, it's not the ritz, but if your in the mood for a laid back place to have a beer, without any hassles, this is it!
