What used to be THE biker bar in the area is hanging on my it's chain. Service is bad, clientel is worse. I dropped by a while ago to see for myself why the bikes were dwindling out front (usually a perk in my day to drive by and see them all lined up sparkling in the sun). What I found was staff talking to friends while I waited for drinks, many customers just hanging around not enjoying a beverage or group conversation. It was really just odd.
I hope someone takes back the handlebars on this legend of Kitsap county.

Biker Bar Extrodinaire: The Bethel Tavern is the real thing when it comes to getting a true biker-bar experience. Places like this are hard to find and are vanishing quickly. Checkout what's hanging on the walls and from the ceilings. There's a wood stove to keep it warm in the winter. There are pool tables, a juke box with something for everyone and usually great looking bartenders. The place has been around forever. It's worth going out of your way to get there! It's easy to find...just go down Bethel Road and look for all the bikes parked out front.
