User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA very down home restaurant like the mom and pop restaurant you would find in a little town tucked away on a secondary highway great food and great service, this place has been an icon of Port Orchard for over 50 years, you will see the local highschool jerseys hanging up in there and the trophys just like in the little town places, people with snub attitudes need not attend this is a community establishment for friendly folks and if you are there on the right weekend there is an old car show going on, if you like the way things used to be then you will have a lot of fun there.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsRecently my husband and I were in search of a delicious cheeseburger. We decided since A&W had such a great reputation we would venture out to taste one of their delectable menu items.
What a BIG mistake!!
The restaurant was extremely unsanitary and while we waited in line for our food we watched as an employee who was "off the clock" came strolling in wearing dirty houseslippers. She decided to walk her way behind the food line to chat with other employees.
The manager, who was very unkempt herself, decided to reprimand other employees in front of the customers...very unprofessional!
We ordered a papa burger and a bacon cheeseburger and found out when we got home we paid the full amount but only got 2 cheeseburgers.
The burgers were typical fast food garbage and nice and cold.
DISGUSTING, Unsanitary, just plain BAD experience.
We will warn our friends and NEVER return!
