The food itself is wonderful but folks dine out for more then the taste of a good meal. The hostess will immediately sum you up while looking down her nose to stoop down to your level and if you are not famous, rich or somebody she knows you will be the first one seated at the least desirable table, the last one waited on and the least attended to. If you are looking to be judged by a restaurant hostess with a bad attitude this is your dream, if you're looking simply for a good meal with descent service skip this one, it's not worth the head trip.
The seafood is excellently prepared and fresh. Our server, Will, was an attentive professional and made sure we enjoyed our meal. My only complaint is the very young hostess with the fake-bake tan (in PA, really!) who replies to the waitress when told to seat us at 9:15pm "Are you serious? It's almost 9:30" (closing time). Such immature, rude comments in front of guests is a real issue. I hope the great wait staff does not have to share their hard-earned tips with her!!
It was Father's Day, and I think they were understaffed. We sat on the bar and had beer and salad bar. Bartender was friendly and kept up his part of the operation. Seafood plates that we saw looked great.
