Absolutely THE best coffee, and I've never had my order brewed incorrectly. There is an amazingly comfortable area to sit and look out at the view of the bay while drinking a cup of whatever and eating something "home made." I highly recommend the brownies if you can get there when they have them.
There are comfy sofas, charming tables, books, games, and magazines...all sorts of things to occupy your time when you're not people-watching or taking in that great view.
The only thing that is bothersome is the extreme lack of parking. The Sons of Norway are stricklers about not using their parking lot (which is ridiculous since it's always empty anyway) - but I would walk a mile to partake of the Poulsbohemian any day.
The people are incredibly nice and don't mind having a conversation when they're not swamped. (It can get a little crowded in the small entry way - but again - it's worth it.)
The best time I ever had here was when my sister was visiting from the east coast and I wanted her to experience the TRUE spirit of Poulsbo. Kind people, great coffee and home made treats, relaxing atmosphere, and the vastly diverse people who come and go through the doors. I think we stayed for an hour...and just didn't want to leave. I almost wish they sold t-shirts. :) It truly is the spirit of Poulsbo, in my humble opinion.
