User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMany of Japanese restaurants are owned by non Japanese people. Hakata is not one of them. It's great that I can talk to them in Japanese. They are very friendly and food is excellent. I have been going there for many years. Sometime, they even make something for you that is not on the menu My friend often asks for a noodle dish that's not on the menu.
I am going there on my birthday this month.-

Hakata is an excellent restaurant. Fresh and attractive food. Nice atmosphere and prompt, friendly service. I have been driving to Hakata from Bainbridge for years. Those detracting comments on this site are pretty obviously from competitors who are completely out classed by Hakata.
