    The place used to be good until the new owners took over and fired half the staff. When I went there for dinner and drinks with friends the owners husband was in the bar getting drunk and wanting to start fights with everyone, I was embarrassed to be there and it put a damper on our whole evening. Now it's just a glorified Denny's with a bar, I will not be going back ever!

    I used to go to Charlies all the time but then the new owners fired the best bartender they had at night Jackie and now the place is just not the same the atmosphere is differnt and you can't go there and have the one friendly person that always new your name and what you drank. She was an employee for almost 30 years and they just dumped her with no real reason. Shame on them.

    I worked here last summer, and I have to say; it was a really nice place. It was never a bad atmosphere, and everyone was friendly no matter what. Sure it was slow on mondays-wednesdays, but who doesn't have slow days nowadays in this economy? The food was really great when I had it a couple times, and if I ever go back home, I'd like to go there for some amazing clam chowder.
