User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSome of the best Italian food my husband and I have ever had! We ordered the lasagna and ravioli, and both were fabulous. Great atmosphere, complete with fresh flowers, candlelight, and live piano in the background. Excellent service. We recommend you get reservations, because the place was busy, and customers had to be turned away!
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI live in Port Townsend and if you know what good Italian should taste like, you will want stay away from Lanza's. The atmosphere is fine but very crowded and the food is quite overpriced and ususally of a very poor quality.
Unfortunately, there really AREN'T any Italian restaurants in Port Townsend...so, either go to Sequim or elsewhere...or stay home and fix it yourself!-

While staying in Port Townsend,Wa. 8/21/08 we wanted Italian food and referred to Lanza's. We were impressed with the decor & service but it stopped there. I ordered the special that night which was $19.00. What I got was an extremely tiny cup of thin creamy soup & my main entree with breaded chicken breast & garlic mashed potatoes without any vegetable at all. They had Cannoli's on dessert menu so I opted for two. Instead I was served a Cannoli shell stuffed with chocolate pudding & whipped cream. Cannoli filling is made with Ricotta cheese, powder sugar, possibly whipped cream, chocolate pieces(toll house), touch of lemon juice & real whipped cream. Returning to our room I felt ripped off, even Applebees gives you a proper meal with meat/chicken, vegetable & mashed potates & for considerably less than $19.00. Very disappointed with Lanza's Italian restaurant in Port Townsend, Wa.
