I would just like to thank the previous post for saying that we work hard, because truly we do. As a hostess I have experienced many different kinds of customers, and I love most of our customers. We try our best to polite to everyone and give the best service possible. It is always left up to the customer, as to their preference of seating, and we are respectful of what they want. i apologize that one person had an unejoyable experience, but i assure you that it is not typical. We have an excellent staff and we always try our best. Although we may be deemed as just kids we are still working, earning money, and trying to pay our way through college, supporting ourselves, or whatever it may be. If you havent tried JJ's yet, please do! The food is really good, and reasonably priced. During the summer we have our outdoor seating and a friendly staff, and of course our locally voted best fish and chips and best clam chowder!

I would just like to point out that have you ever wondered why kids work in a restaurant? I will tell you. Adults cannot live on minimum wage. Can you? Also please don't blame a teenager for you size issue it is not his problem. You should have been aware of the fact that you needed a table. As for the food. The Chowder is amazing and the fish and chops are great. Yes the cod can be tough but if you could see the fillet before the Chef cuts it you would see why. When using fresh wild caught fish how about you try getting consistant quality. So if you have never waited tables please hold your judgment. These "Kids" work really hard and they deserve some respect. So thank you KIDS i appreciate you service and hard work.

By far the worst meal in the history of the world. Cramped hard seats, horrible fish, warm beverages, cold chowder, dirty restaurant, they should not let you watch the kitchen staff and I won't even mention the bathrooms and why in the world would you let a teenage kid seat you, we had a few simple questions that he just didn't know. Where are the owners? I think JJ's has run it's course in Poulsbo and they should fold up and leave town while they still have a little bit of dignity left. Please save us form having to pay alot of money for that torture.
