    Had lunch there today - lovely view overlooking the bay. Food was fair; service was poor. When seated they asked if we wanted water but forgot to serve it until reminded which was after our food arrived. My husband ordered a shredded beef tostada, which arrived without any beef. The waitress did bring him a small dish of beef after he showed her the tostada had none. My burrito was small, did not have much sauce nor cheese.

    Only 2 other guests. Booths seats were torn vinyl; some were patched. Hallway was dark- no lights as it was decorated for Halloween. Avoid.

    This is my favorite restaurant since La Fonda! It has a great view, friendly staff, super fast service and the best food ever! I eat there every chance I get.

    The menu has a great selection from seafood to vegetarian and all the traditional favorites. The portions are very generous, the dishes well prepared and, the flavors are exactly what you would expect. The waterfront dining room is a nice laid back spot to have a drink and enjoy the view. The service is always very prompt, and very nice. I really love good Mexican food. La Isla has become a weekly tradition.
