User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI have to say I've never had issues with them until now and I have renewed tabs there for years. I wrote a check to them on 8/28/08 for tabs. Well, days later I found out our car financing office duplicated a payment and cleaned out our checking account. My check bounced with them. I called and told them what happened and they said when the check comes back you will get a letter stating you have 30 days to pay the check plus the $25.00. I said ok. My letter was dated 9/11/08. I received it on on 9/13/08. My next payday was 9/30/08 and on 10/4/08 I purchased the money order to pay. I went to the post office on 10/7/08(Monday) and mailed the money order priority mail with delivery confirmation tracking. My letter was delivered to them at 11:21am on 10/8/08. I called the offfice on 10/9/08 and the lady said they had received my money order and all was good. On Wednesday 10/15/08 I received my money order back from them saying the bad check had already been turned over to the collection agency and I needed to contact them. Of course I'm furious. I call the next morning(today) and they tell me they did not receive the money order until 10/14/08 and tried to process it but the state had already turned the check over. The collection agency has no record of it. They flat out lied to me saying it didn't come in the mail until 10/14/08. I know what happened. The lady that said she got it, did not process it right away because she got distracted and it I'm sure got left in a pile on her desk and she just happen to find it on Monday because they kept making excuses they checked the mail on Saturday and it wasn't there, which was my 30th day to get it to them. Instead of fessing up that they messed up, they just lie. So now I'm left dealing with the state to get this straightened out, but at least I have proof the post office delivered it on time!!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHow Much Must I Spend: My Wife and I have spent nearly $100,000.00 on new car purchases,and found the customer service to be very poor,if not offensive,from the time of purchase,to schedualed maintanance appntmnts.We would not patronize again,nor would we recomend to family or friends

Western Auto is a licensing place, not a repair place. The amount you pay for your cars is not their happiness or sorrow... Maintenance appointments either. I have always liked Western Auto. There is a reason they have been there for so many years. This review was written by an apparently ignorant party. (*NOTE: The definition of ignorant is someone lacking knowledge, like as in the place they are reviewing.)
