User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been to the Painted Plate many times. It is a fun way to catch up with family or friends, while having something to do with your hands. I would like to take my oldest nephew (7) They have cute, inexpensive figurines for kids to paint (or light plates, picture frames, handprint on a plate, tiles, ornaments, boxes, tons of dishes, etc...), and lots of great shapes for adults and more experienced "painters". I've done a plate, bunny figurine, and my most recent was a food bowl for my cats. Every time I go back, my pieces keep looking better and better. I am a crafter, and really enjoy all the techniques and colors available. I prefer to come prepared with printouts of designs to freehand or cut out of contact paper. Also, if you get a $10 banquet permit, you can have a lady's night (they stay open pretty late) and bring alcohol. Your own food and drinks are allowed. GREAT idea for a party. Next shower I have to throw is there!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWhen I went to the painted plate for a party, I had a really fun time. The employees there are really nice and kids have a lot of fun. Next week, my family and I are going to the painted plate again and we are going to have a wonderful time.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy Mom, my two sisters and I all went to The Painted Plate for girls day, we had the BEST time, it was so much fun the atmosphere was so relaxing, they had great coffee we could have while we were painting and they also have icecream there I didnt have any but one of my sisters said its GREAT!!!! I will definatly be going back I made my daughter a piggy bank now I need a coffee cup!!! its definatly kid friendly too I will be taking my children!
