A few years ago I had the rare treat of rescuing a "wild critter". While parking to shop at a local store I saw a tiny brown bit of fur on the parking stripe. Upon inspection I found it to be an extremely young field mouse with it's eyes still closed. I could not, for my life, leave the little baby there so scooped it up and thought of Dr. Overlie for advice. He was absolutely amazing. He gave us a recipe for a formula to feed "her" with a tiny eyedropper and she was with us for over a year. We periodically brought her by his office for visits as she was a miracle baby. He cared about an animal that would have been considered expendable by anyone else and therefore has my admiration and respect for life!!!!
Dr. Overlie is the best Vet for Cats and Dogs I have ever had. Though not much of a "people person," he is wonderful with the animals and is especially fond of dogs. He is honest and always has the best interest of the animal in mind, and has no problems telling you how you can change things and help your pet. His staff are friendly and remember you by name after the first time you have been there and have genuine concern for the well being of your pet. The only complaint that I have is that Dr. Overlie doesn't treat horses!
Dr Overlie has been fantastic with our aging dogs and our young pup too! We love the common sense&caring approach that he has and he and his staff have made a very difficult parting with our 16 yo Shepherd a much gentler time for us. He will always get the best of our respect!
