Loser. The Chef in this restaurant comes first, not the diner. You will not be allowed to eat in this establishment if the wife of the chef or the waitperson feels that you have any type of perfume, cologne, deodorant, hairspray, etc.
The strange thing about this is that there were five people in our party and there was only one of the ladies wearing any perfume or hairspray. Not one of us could detect any type of scent, it was more a look that this establishment picks on. The particular person in our party is quite "girly" and looks as though she would wear hairspray, make-up, perfume, etc.
In our 30 years of marriage and traveling to over 60 countries and countless islands, vacations on cruise ships, eating at some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, New York, The French Laundry, we have never been told that we could not be served for wearing a particular scent.
This young chef should choose another profession, perhaps one where he wold not come into contact with humans.
Five friends from Florence, Oregon
Fantastic, Larry the chef personally greeted us and treated us to a great meal.
It was worth the trip from Portland.
The Port Bistro: Pauly's was sold last month and now has a new name, 'The Port Bistro' and a new chef. The food is still outstanding but just a nudge more common. A view of the bay, the docks, birds and people walking by. The only downside is the limited seating. Enjoy.
